Spectrum of Achievement Awards Pilot for ASDAN at Key Stage 2 and KS3 from Sept. 96 with a group of Liverpool Primary and Secondary schools. This has arisen in response to many requests for a "YAS" scheme for younger pupils, since it is known to motivate young people, giving the opportunity to recognise their wider activities, achievements and qualities. It can enhance a school's efforts to improve attendance and behaviour and provide a structure for cross-curricular and extra-curricular working.
