Wirral & District Amateur Radio Club

Formed 31 years ago in December 1978, we provide a meeting place for those interested in all aspects of the world-wide hobby of  Amateur Radio and Short Wave listening within reach of Wirral.

Our HQ is located at Irby Cricket Club where we meet at 8pm on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month.  An excellent, central location with spacious parking.  As a visitor, you will be most welcome at any of our Club meetings.

Next Wednesday evening is our Club Famliy BBQ, held at our ICC HQ from 8pm.  It's an opportunity to chat with members and friends whilst enjoying the finest and juiciest Burgers, Sausages, Kebabs etc. cooked by our very own expert Chef Steve M0SPD, supplimented with fresh Rolls, Fried Onions and a range of Sauces + Full bar facilities by Paul our barman.  Please come and support the evening - all family and friends welcome.  (No bouncy castles !!)  See you there.
