Welcome to the website of the

Wirral & District Amateur Radio Club

Formed 30 years ago in January 1978, we provide a meeting place for those interested in all aspects of the world-wide hobby of  Amateur Radio and Short Wave listening within reach of Wirral.

Our HQ is located at Irby Cricket Club where we meet at 8pm on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of each month.  An excellent, central location with spacious parking.  As a visitor, you will be most welcome at any of our Club meetings.

Please enjoy browsing our website, and if we can help with any further information, please contact:- secretary@wadarc.com

More news on the 'Club Members' page .. while on Wednesday we are holding another "On the Air" night.  Now the better weather and longer nights are here, Dave G3UFO is going to progress the OZIpole project with some outside tests using the extra area offered by the cricket field. He will have all the necessary test kit with him.  We also plan an update on the progress of the Club D-Star project and have participants along to answer any questions ... See you there 8pm.
