Stained Glass Windows
|
The East window was designed by the Vicar, the Reverend William Webster and work started on it in 1923. It was originally painted glass but within four years this was fading and in 1927 it was remade using stained glass. It depicts Jerusalem as the sun rises on Easter morn. The tomb is open and the Cross empty. Click on the thumbnail for a larger version |
