Welcome to the Internet pages of St. John's Church, Ainsdale. We are the Anglican Parish Church of Ainsdale, a suburb of Southport on the North West coast of England. The parish is in the North Meols Deanery (pronounced to rhyme with Meals), part of the Liverpool Diocese of the Church of England.
Within the pages of this website there is a wealth of information about our beautiful church building and its place within our community. You can also embark upon an informative Church Tour, and learn about different parts of our church, and see them too, on your screens.
However the church is not just a building but a living, worshipping community of Christian people who are seeking to live out Christ's command to be both 'salt' and 'light' within our neighbourhoods and parish. And so you will be able to discover what is happening at St. John's both in terms of worship and other events, you will be able to learn about our church organisations and their work among many different age groups within our local area, and our world-wide links with other Christians. We now also have a page giving basic information on arranging weddings and baptisms at St John's
