B.C.P = Book of Common Prayer.
This is the 'traditional' service book of the Church of England. It was authorised
in 1662, based on Cranmer's 16th Century prayer book of the reformation. More
information can be found at the BCP
section, Anglican Resource Collection of the Society of Archbishop Justus.
B.C.W. = Book of Common Worship. Authorised in 2000,
these are modern services with much more inclusive language. More information
can be found at the Church
of England site.
This is a new service, started in January 2003. It is a lively, informal service held in the Church hall. Part of the service is all-age and part is split up into different age groups - 3-4 years (Bible Bunch), 5-11 (KFC) & everyone else. Pictures of the first service may give you an idea of what it is like.

Currently most 9.30 and 6.30 services are accompanied by choir and organ. The hymn and song books we use are Ancient & Modern (New Standard) and Songs of Fellowship as well as our own collection of hymns. Most Family Services and all Morning Praise & Evening Praise services are led by the Music Group and use newer choruses and worship songs.
Young children and babies are always welcome in our services, we have a selection of toys available for them to borrow during the service - just ask one of the people standing at the back when you come in. The 11 am service on a Sunday is our most children friendly service where there is a play mat at the back.
