Japanese Visiting Professor

Over the past few years the Faculty of Law has welcomed, as Visiting Professors, legal academics from overseas institutions. This current academic year Professor Tadaakira Jo, Professor at the Faculty of Law, Kyushu International University, Japan, is based at the Faculty undertaking research. His particular fields of interest are International Disarmament Law and International Human Rights with particular reference to the Convention on the elimination of all forms of discrimination against women. Professor Jo has a flat on the Carnatic Site and he has sampled most of the entertainment the city offers, from football at Anfield, to concerts performed by the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra.
