Centenary of the Faculty of Arts

In December 1996, the Faculty of Arts will celebrate its centenary. To mark this milestone. a number of events are planned, including a concert in the Philharmonic Hall, a reception, a centenary lecture, a buffet supper in the Faculty's original home, the Victoria Building, and an exhibition. It is also intended to publish a centenary volume, a substantial portion of which will be given over to personal recollections of the Faculty, written by present and former members of staff and former students, who are invited to send their contributions to: Richard Wilde, Sub-Dean, Faculty of Arts, The University, Liverpool, L69 3BX by not later than 31 July 1996.
