As you may already be aware, the Library is installing Innopac, a new automated system, during the summer vacation this year. The system will replace Dobis/Libis which is used in the Harold Cohen, Sydney Jones and Law Libraries. It will also be installed in the Education Library.
To make the transition from Dobis to Innopac as smooth as possible the staff recall in these libraries will be held in September this year. From 1 March 1997 all books issued to staff borrowers in the Harold Cohen, Sydney Jones and Law libraries have been stamped due for return on 30 September 1997.
Staff borrowers may return books which they no longer require at any time but items which are to be renewed should be brought into the relevant Library in September, when the new system should be up and running. This also applies to items stamped due for return in June 1997.
Please note that in the non-automated departmental libraries the recall will take place in June, as usual. Information about the September recall will be circulated to all Departments in July.
