Louise Ellman, MP, visited the Department of Nursing and the Clinical Skills Resource Centre in May, where she met and talked to staff and students.
In response to the central government agenda for nursing, the Department is developing more strategic ways for postgraduate and undergraduate students to improve their skills and strengthen their capabilities and confidence. The Department is also building closer relationships between nurses and ot her branches of the medical profession. As well as seeing the work of the Department, Louise Ellman also met the Directors of Nursing of the Aintree, Royal and Broad Green Hospital Trusts.
