NEW BOOK FOR POTENTIAL VETS
Getting into Veterinary Science is the latest book written by John Handley, one of the University's careers advisers. It has been written with the support and help of the staff and students of the University's Faculty of Veterinary Science, local vets and farmers. The book is intended to help those fifth and sixth- formers wanting to enter this very competitive field and is on the Faculty of Veterinary Science's recommended reading list. CAMPUS VIEWS
Reproductions of four attractive watercolour views of the campus
painted by local artist John Pickles, commissioned by the
University, are still available. The four paintings depict the
Victoria Building, the Chatham Building, the Student Services
Centre (with the Metropolitan Cathedral in the background) and
Staff House. From each painting, a limited edition of 100 very
