Students on the Master of Business Administration (Football Industries) degree course have had to get used to photo-calls and interviews as well as lectures and seminars. The degree is the first of its kind anywhere and has attracted a lot of media attention, which is not surprising considering the amount of media exposure given to the football industry itself.
500 students from around the world contacted the University's Football Research Unit when the course was announced last July, and 20 applicants were admitted in October. Some of them were photographed at Anfield, with Brian Hall of Liverpool Football Club. Mr Hall is a Liverpool graduate (BSc Math ematics 1968) and a former Liverpool player.
