Seventeen representatives from Roscoe and Gladstone Hall entered, all of whom completed the run, with times ranging from 42 to 75 minutes. The event raised money for the SPARK (Sport Aiding Research for Kids) charity and the R&G 10K Team was kindly supported by the Mt. Pleasant branch of the Royal Bank of Scotland.
R&G's former Warden (Gordon Hall) would not doubt have approved as he was a keen member of the local Penny Lane Striders. The hall intends to enter the Womens' 10K next year, although of course the men will be left holding the coats.
