Later this year the offices of President of the Council and Pro-Chancellor will fall vacant. The President of the Council chairs the Council and is a member ex officio of all Council and joint Council/Senate committees. The Pro-Chancellor deputises as necessary for the Chancellor and also plays an important role in the University's governance as Chairman of the Audit Committee. The Advisory Group to the Nominations Committee, which will recommend the appointments, would welcome suggestions of individuals who might have suitable experience and qualifications to fill these important offices.
