The University of Liverpool, in conjunction with Private
Medicine Intermediaries Ltd, offers membership of a private health
care scheme. The scheme, which is run by BUPA, offers members
very competitive contribution rates and comprehensive cover for
themselves and their families if desired and represents a sound
investment in the health and welfare investment. The University
will be publicising the scheme using posters prominently displayed
throughout all of the departments and literature explaining the
benefits of the scheme sent directly to all members of staff.
Also,
on 11 March 1996, representatives of BUPA, PMI and the University
will be conducting an open day to answer all of your questions
and invite members of staff to join the scheme. The event will
be staged in the Senate Room Foyer from 10am to 4.30pm and everybody
is welcome to come along to discuss the benefits of private medical
care.
