Advances in veterinary medicine came under
the microscope when the newly-refurbished Farm Animal Hospital
at the Faculty of Veterinary Science Leahurst was officially opened
on Tuesday 5 December by the High Sheriff of Cheshire, Mr John
M Pickering. The ceremony coincided with Farm Animal Open Day
and guests were able to watch vet students and staff at work and
tour the farm animal site.
It is envisaged that the improved facilities
will enable the Hospital to increase its client base whilst continuing
to provide a 24 hour service for a full range of medical, surgical
and reproductive cases in farm animals.
