Mark Stidworthy of the Department of Veterinary Pathology of the Faculty of Veterinary Science has been awarded a grant of £700 by the Harry Steele-Bodger Memorial Trust of the British Veterinary Association. The award is to be used towards the cost of a tour of study in the United States this autumn. This will include visits to the School of Veterinary Medicine of the University of Pennsylvania, and to the annual meeting of the American College of Veterinary Pathologists in St Louis. The Memorial Fund was established in 1953 to honour the memory of Henry W Steele-Bodger, President of the British Veterinary Association from 1939 to 1941. It awards a scholarship at least once every four years to recent veterinary graduates or students in their final two years.
