- The Cheshire Cycleway - a 176mile/282km journey through some of Cheshire's finest scenery
- The Palm House, Sefton Park - an ideal destination for a pleasant day's cycling, the Palm House is on cycle route 56.
- The Trans Pennine Trail
The TPT is a route for walkers, cyclists and horse riders that links the North and Irish seas. Part of the National Cycle Network, it starts in Southport, Merseyside and passes through the hills of the Pennines, alongside rivers and canals, and through some of the best towns and cities in the North of England.
