ADVOCACY....WHAT IS IT

Advocacy supports and enables people to speak up for themselves or indicate their views.

WHY DO PEOPLE NEED ADVOCATES?

Society is not very good at listening and people with disabilities have rights, needs and feelings like everyone else. They also have the right to develop, learn and lead more fulfilling and independent lives.

Advocates enable people with disabilities to make choices.
