Liverpool Community Care Ltd
Liverpool Community Care Ltd (LCC Ltd) is an established Community Based Economic Development Company (CBED) and provides support to people in Liverpool living at home.
CBED Means:
- a community self-help approach to tackling unemployment
- the creation of good quality local employment for the people of Liverpool
- the provision of local services by local people, in areas where service is lacking.
LCC Ltd philosophy is to:
- bring a fresh, innovative approach to community care
- work in partnership with people who need services
- work with people to enable them to become as independent as possible, within their wider community
- challenge oppression and discriminatory practises, both as an organisation and also by supporting people who face it
- to be flexible and efficient in the way it provides services.
