Built in 1966 by the architects Gilling Dod & Partners it is the base of operations for the Liverpool Federation of Building Trades Employers apart from this it also houses the Liverpool Design Centre.
The architecture of this building is quite unique, as the interior of it including the lecture theatre has no distinct style at all, this is in sharp contrast to the exterior of the building, and this has a ring of neo-Aztec sculpture which was created by William Mitchell.
