The Hope Street Association (HOPES) is a voluntary organisation which actively brings together and promotes the arts, business, community, educational and religious interests of the Hope Street Quarter. The Association builds on Livepool's strengths, bringing together physical, cultural and economic regeneration.

The Objectives of HOPES

To improve and encourage the further development of the Hope Street Quarter

To support the Hope Street Quarter through partnership between local art, educational and religious organisations, business, residents, workers, clients and patrons.

HOPES has been working for a number of years to improve the Hope Street Quarter, which includes famous buildings such as the Philharmonic Hall, the Everyman Theatre, The Unity Theatre and the Metropolitan and Anglican Cathedrals. Current refurbsihment of the Street involves a partnership which includes HOPES

One of HOPES' greatest assests is its comitted membership along with the support of the Liverpool Business School, Livepool Architecture and Design Trust and local professional regeneration consultants who donate their services.

HOPES also works to raise the profile of the city's cultural heritage and is responsible for the very successful Hope Street Midsummer Festival.

HOPES also participates in Graduate Retention Schemes as the association is aware of the need to encourage graduates to remain in the city in order to help Liverpool become a thriving city of young professionals.

The Hope Street Association welcomes any support.
