This month we have turned the role play area into a puppet theatre. We have a wide range of hand and finger puppets including fairy tale characters and many different types of animals.

The children are enjoyingperforming to each other in impromtu puppet shows which are proving highly entertaining, not only for our own age group but for the older children as well.

We are particlularly concentrating on the story of Goldilocks and the Three Bears with Form 2 and we have been preparing to invite Form 1 for a performance of the Goldilocks puppet show at the end of the month. There are therefore plenty of opportunities to practise our writing and craft skills in making adverts and programmes for the event as well as making the required props - chairs, beds, stairs etc.

Towards the end of the month, we are welcoming a puppet theatre group to the school to perform a show about Christmas which we are very much looking forward to and will fit in very well with our theme for this half-term.
