Our Role Play this month is:

THE PET SHOP

Here is our pet shop. We sell:

dogs
cats
parrots
rabbits
snakes
frogs
pet supplies.

We also have a holidaying toy rabbit, who we look after each day. Each day we take turns to give the rabbit food, hay, water and to clean the cage. We fill in a feeding record sheet to make sure we remember!

We have carried out a school survey about people’s pets. Here are some graphs we drew with the results.

We are practising money skills and organisational skills, learning how to take turns and share, as well as practising our writing skills, making up instructions on how to look after various pets. Have a read . . .
