Heswall Prep parent returns from Sierra Leone

What a great afternoon we spent together on Thursday for the Heswall Prep performance of Alice in Wonderland in the School gardens in celebration of the Queen’s 80th birthday.

Alice in Wonderland is a children’s classic by Lewis Carroll which tells of a dream where a little girl follows a rabbit and plummets into an unknown world where she experiences strange and absurd adventures.

Children, staff and parents at Heswall Prep helped bring the wonderland characters to life, with drama, music and costumes. Main characters included the White Rabbit, the Mock Turtle, the King and Queen of Hearts, the Dodo, the Mad Hatter, the Griffin and many more as well as Alice herself who came in two sizes!
