WORLD MATHS DAY

One of the highlights of this term has been World Maths Day. All the children entered the competition which ran on the web for 48 hours on 4th and 5th March.

It was fascinating for the children to compete with children from all over the world in their own age group. They became highly competitive as they improved their mental maths skills and tried to win each round and beat their own personal best score in each game.

Everyone was trying hard to reach the highest possible score during the 48 hour game. The Heswall Prep winner, Victoria, managed to get a staggering total of 6554 points, putting her in the 'Almost Einstein' category. Many others scored very highly, some are listed below. We all enjoyed the competition hugely.
