A Christmas Carol

This term in literature we are reading ‘A Christmas carol’ by Charles Dickens. There are three ghosts in it. The first one is called the ghost of Christmas past, the second one is the ghost of Christmas present and the last one is called the ghost of Christmas future.

The main character is Scrooge who was a miser and hated Christmas. He lived in a little old house were Marley once lived. Marley was the partner of scrooge but he had been dead for seven years so Scrooge had to work on his own.

I love this book because its exciting and mysterious. I feel sorry for scrooge, like Fred, one of the characters. Fred is a very happy person who tries to cheer up Scrooge and make him enjoy Christmas.
