Cornerstone bookshop is part of Maghull Christian Centres, a charitable institution, which was formed several years ago by the Churches in the area. The Hon. Resource Manager, Miss Isobel Turner, has over twenty years experience in the Christian Book Trade.

Cornerstone carries a good stock of Christian books, cards, posters, gifts, etc. and has a video hire service. It sells and exchanges Book Tokens. It also carries the Noel Tatt range of general cards. It is staffed entirely by volunteers from various Churches in the area.

The aim of Cornerstone is for Churches to work together to provide a service and to reach out into the Community to show the love of God.

Church book stalls are supplied on favourable terms in both the local area and further afield, and a domiciliary service is provided to five residential Homes / Sheltered Housing complexes. A mobile bookstall is available for Fetes and Shows.
