Bebington Volunteer Centre

Why volunteer?

People volunteer for a variety of reasons. Many of us have time to spare and feel volunteering will be a constructive use of time and skills. You could be needing some practical experience to enhance your employment prospects.

Whatever the reason, people who volunteer are offering to do something to help other people, without personal reward

Being a volunteer will enable you to :

Increase your self-confidence

Gain experience

Maintain/learn new skills

Benefit from training

Above all enjoy yourself

Who volunteers?

Are you unemployed, a student, a housewife, a retired person......or just someone who can give a few hours of their time each week to help others!

What can volunteers do?

These are just some examples: driving, administrative work, befriending, charity shop work, hospital work, tutor, gardening, advocacy, serving on committees...... the list is endless......your work will be appreciated.
