The list indicates the accommodation establishments which have been inspected by the English Tourist Board, the AA or the RAC with the relevant grading. The list also indicates the accommodation establishments which are awaiting classification and grading. Map references apply to maps in the 1996 Liverpool and Merseyside Visitor Guide

How to Book Your Accommodation

The Merseyside Welcome Centre, Clayton Square, Liverpool, Tel: 0151-709 8838, Fax: 0151-708 0204 can take advance telephone bookings for accommodation on Merseyside. Just telephone with your details and call into the centre when you arrive in Liverpool to collect your confirmation. There is also an accommodation booking service available to personal callers at the Merseyside Welcome Centre or at the Tourist Information Centre, Albert Dock, Liverpool. Both services are free of charge. Unless otherwise stated rate quoted includes bed & breakfast, VAT and service mid-week. Most hotels offer lower tariffs at week-ends.
